Chi Theta Mission

Our Mission within the Chi Zeta Chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau International is to connect, engage, mentor, and to provide service to the community using the foundation of nursing scholarship, professionalism, and community service.

Chapter History

The Chi Zeta Chapter was developed 2012, when a virtual nursing honor society (NHS) was established at Chatham University.  The following year in, 2013, the locally grown society petitioned the national headquarters to become a Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) chapter.  In the spring of 2014, the chapter was chronicled as the 508th chapter of STTI with a formal chartering and induction ceremony. To date the chapter hosts over 125 nursing members from all over the country.
